MONTE ACADEMY

Monte Academy was born from a personal journey, a story of faith, perseverance, and a deep belief that education is the key to a better future.

I grew up in a small village called Souro, in Lospalos, Timor-Leste, in a modest family that always believed in one principle: education changes lives. Though we didn’t have much, my parents instilled in us a strong determination to pursue our studies and build a better future through knowledge and hard work.

Officially established on September 1, 2024, Monte Academy is more than just a training institution, it is a symbol of hope and opportunity. Our mission is to empower people in Timor-Leste with the knowledge and skills they need to grow, adapt, and succeed in life.

The name “Monte,” which also means mountain in Portuguese, represents the uphill journey of every learner, a climb filled with challenges, dedication, and courage.

Monte Academy stands as a testament to the belief that anyone, regardless of background, can climb their own “mountain” of education and reach a brighter future.
